Got Questions?
Everything you need to know about working with us. Can't find what you're looking for? Just give us a call.
Just get in touch by phone or email and we'll arrange a free, no-obligation consultation. We'll learn about your business and current setup, then put together a tailored quote. If you're happy to proceed, we handle the whole transition including notifying HMRC.
Absolutely — this is something we love helping with. We can assist with registering you as an employer with HMRC, setting up your PAYE scheme, and getting everything in place before your first pay run. You don't need to have done any of this before.
For most businesses we can have everything in place before your next payroll run. We work to your schedule and won't leave you short.
We'll need basic employee records — names, addresses, NI numbers, tax codes, and salary details. We'll send you a clear checklist. If some information is missing, we'll work with you to track it down.
The complete payroll cycle: processing your pay run, calculating PAYE and NI, submitting RTI returns to HMRC, producing payslips, preparing your BACS file for submission via your own bank, and handling starters and leavers.
Also included as standard: holiday pay calculations, HMRC correspondence handling, and year-end reporting including P60 production.
Yes. We process payroll on any frequency — weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly. If you have different groups of employees on different frequencies, we can manage that too.
Yes, this is something we deal with regularly. Whether you're a sole director paying yourself a salary, taking dividends, or a combination of both, we'll make sure your payroll is structured and processed correctly. Our pricing is the same as any 1-person payroll.
Yes, always. Every client has a dedicated payroll specialist who handles their account. You'll never have to re-explain your setup to someone new. Our team brings over 20 years of combined payroll experience.
Yes. Holiday pay calculations for workers on variable or irregular hours can be complicated. The rules around the 52-week reference period trip up a lot of small businesses. We handle this correctly as part of your payroll service.
Yes. Every client gets access to a dedicated client portal where you can view payroll summaries, HMRC details, employee records, leave entitlements, and your payroll calendar.
Your employees also get their own self-service portal and a mobile app, where they can view payslips, request annual leave, and update their personal information.
Auto enrolment is a legal requirement for all UK employers. You must automatically enrol eligible employees into a qualifying workplace pension scheme. Failure to comply can result in fines from The Pensions Regulator.
From April 2027, all UK employers who provide taxable benefits in kind — company cars, private healthcare, or other perks — will be required to payroll those benefits rather than report them on P11D forms after year end.
We're already handling this for clients, so we have the experience to get you set up correctly well ahead of the deadline. Get in touch if you're unsure what this means for your business.
Yes — NEST, The People's Pension, Smart Pension, Aviva, NOW: Pensions, and others. If you have an existing scheme, we'll work with it.
Our pricing is based on headcount and pay frequency. Most clients pay from £27/month. You can get an instant estimate on our Pricing page, or get in touch for a confirmed quote — usually within 24 hours.
There is a one-off £50 setup fee on your first invoice, which covers onboarding, HMRC registration, and getting your payroll configured. Everything else is included in your annual fee.
The full payroll cycle — processing, RTI submissions, payslips, starters and leavers, statutory pay, holiday pay, auto enrolment, HMRC correspondence, and your dedicated specialist. Year-end reporting including P60s is also included as standard. Payrolling benefits in kind is available as an optional add-on.
Absolutely. We manage the whole transition, including obtaining your historical payroll data and notifying HMRC. We aim for a seamless switch with no disruption to your pay runs.
Yes. Many of our clients moved from in-house payroll to outsourcing with us. We extract the necessary data from your existing system and handle the transition carefully so nothing gets lost.
Yes. RC Payroll Solutions is HMRC recognised and RTI compliant. We operate as an authorised payroll agent and file directly with HMRC on your behalf, including handling correspondence and queries.
Yes — this is included as standard. Once you've authorised us as your payroll agent, we deal with HMRC correspondence directly on your behalf, including tax code notices, penalty notices, and general queries.
No — paying employees remains with you as the employer. We produce a BACS file each pay period which you simply upload to your own bank. Many of our smaller clients don't use BACS at all and pay staff directly. Either way, the process is straightforward.
Keeping on top of legislation changes is part of what you're paying us for. Minimum wage uplifts, tax code changes, new statutory pay rates, the upcoming mandatory payrolling of benefits in kind — we implement changes automatically and flag anything that directly affects your business.
Give us a call or drop us an email. We're happy to chat through anything — no obligation.
